The Charges

This was a case of Garden City v. client. The client was charged with domestic violence which is a 93 day misdemeanor.

The Result

Client was found not guilty at trial.

Three Misdemeanors including OWI

The Charges

This was a case of Livonia v. my client. The client was charged with three misdemeanors including OWI, resisting/ obstructing / assaulting an officer, and leaving the scene of a property damage accident.

The Result

The client pled guilty to a non-alcohol related offense and we were able to get the OWI dismissed.

Felonious Assault

The Charges

This case started out in the 21st district court for a Preliminary Exam. The client was charged with two serious felonies and two misdemeanors including: Felonious assault which is a 4 year felony, interfering with a crime report which is a 2 year felony, aggravated assault which is a 1 year misdemeanor, and domestic violence which is a 93 day misdemeanor.

The Result

We were able to get the felonies dismissed as well as one of the misdemeanors.

Felony CCW

The Charges

Our client was charged with a felony CCW (Carrying a Concealed Weapon). If convicted, he was facing up to five years in prison. He hired us after the preliminary exam.

The Result

After extensive negotiations, I was able to arrange for a favorable offer. The result was a 90 day misdemeanor.

Felony Gun Charges

Our client was charged with three felony gun charges. Facing a mandatory two year prison sentence upon a conviction, he exercised his right to a Jury Trial.

The case was dismissed.

OWI Drunk Driving

Our client was charged with OWI. This is a misdemeanor charge that could result in up to 93 days in jail.

The Result

After filing a motion, the prosecutor offered a favorable reduction. The result was a careless driving ticket which is a civil infraction.

Assault & Battery

The Charges

Our client was charged with Assault and Battery. He was facing 93 days in jail and chose to have a jury trial.

The Result

The verdict came back not guilty.

Four Felonies

The Charges

Our client was charged with four felonies. 1. Felonious Assault 2. Weapons- Firearms discharge in a building 3. Felony Firearm 4. Assaulting-Resisting-Obstructing a Police Officer. Our client was facing four years in prison. He would serve an automatic two years in prison upon a conviction.
